The mission of Justice For All's outreach events is to create dialogue about abortion and human rights. One of our most common venues is the free speech forum of the public university campus. In most cases, JFA is invited by a student club to help it express the free speech of its members.
We believe that the debate about abortion will lead to greater consensus if it is turned into a dialogue in which both parties ask questions with an open heart, listen to understand, and find common ground when possible. JFA's mentor team trains JFA's volunteers to attend to these basic principles of communication.
In this spirit, we present this web site as an invitation to you to join the dialogue. Our dialogue tools are each described here, and we encourage you to use the comment feature to share your perspective. Don't be surprised, though, if someone reads your comment and interacts with it! That's the whole point: engage in dialogue that helps all of us rethink our views and develop settled beliefs grounded by good reasons.
I went to a JFA Training event and found it to be enlightening, invigorating and life changing. It changed my life in that previously I always tried to convert others to my way of thinking by beating them up with details that I felt certain they wouldn't know. However, now I find that it is far more productive and much less stressful to have them ask questions about what I might know that they don't know. It's a whole new world. Praise the Lord.
